Kathie Gwilliam, is a motivational speaker who is passionate about inspiring individuals to recognize their self-worth. Throughout her speeches, she focuses on the devastating consequences of comparison on individuals and companies and emphasizes the importance of embracing unique talents and skills. Kathie's goal is to inspire her audiences to replace naturally occurring comparisons with intentional actions that bring confidence and contentment into their personal and professional lives.

Kathie is the host of the weekly Project Confidence podcast, the author of five picture books, and the writer of a highly anticipated nonfiction book on overcoming social comparison, set for publication in 2027. Known for her powerful storytelling, she was a finalist in the 2025 Last Story Standing competition for the NSA Mountain West Chapter. Her engaging stories bring her teachings to life, helping audiences see how her methods create real change.
Kathie empowers leaders to foster connection, inspiration, and trust within their teams, leading to healthier workplaces. She also helps individuals cultivate confidence and contentment in their personal lives. She holds a BA in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah and has experience working in multiple areas of education.
She currently lives in Riverton, Utah with her husband, two sons, and three daughters. Reading, hiking, traveling, chocolate chip cookies, and sunrises are a few of her favorite things.
